On May 26th, 1948, Stephanie Lynn Nicks was born to her parents, Jess and Barbara Nicks. Music was a vital part of her life from an early age; she sang and danced with her grandfather, an aspiring country singer who never had his own big break. Over twenty-five years later, Nicks fulfilled her grandfather's fantasy by joining Fleetwood Mac and recording "Rumours," one of the best-selling records of all time. Her solo career proved just as successful; Rolling Stone crowned her the "Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll." Now, at sixty-two years old, she is still recording and touring-- a living legend.
"I have been through just about every possible thing that you could go through, and I’ve just given up everything you could possibly give up for this. And I wonder sometimes if I made the right decisions."
